An Interim Senior Finance Manager is required for a 6 month contract supporting the financial management of a division of a high profile North West business

The business requires a technically capable, detail-oriented ACA qualified candidate with sound financial reporting skills combined with business acumen with which to assist the business in interpreting the numbers.

The Role

Reporting to the Divisional Managing Director, responsibilities include:

• Reporting: Monthly Board pack for both Group (consolidated) and individual entities;
• Year End: Assist with completing year end accounts for a number of group companies
• Audit: Assist with the year end audit;
• Business Partnering: Work with the managing Director and other operational leaders in interpreting the financial reports and converting them into well informed decisions.
• Manage: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 2 Management Accountants and a Junior Finance Business Partner

The Candidate

• Qualified accountant, ideally trained in practice, with strong technical reporting / financial accounting knowledge;
• Strong problem-solving ability and a pro-active can-do attitude;
• Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines;
• Good communicator, capable of building productive relationships with financial and non-financial colleagues;
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
