Although we have tried other recruitment agencies, for qualified staff we have always completed the recruitment through MDM Resourcing for a number of years, so when we created a new role they were the obvious people to speak to. As this was a new role we didn’t even have a full job specification when I first spoke to Mike but he worked with us and helped us to come up with the role title and salary banding. However what really impressed us was the quality of the candidates he presented. He provided a shortlist of 4, any one of which we’d have taken- in fact we did consider whether we could create an extra role- they were that good. unfortunately we only had the budget for the one role we advertised but, almost a month in, the candidate is delivering exactly what we asked Mike to provide us with. As our team continues to grow, it’s great to know that I won’t have to trawl through mediocre CVs to find the best candidates as MDM do such a great job of matching candidates to roles.
After 6 months of searching for a Financial Controller through two national financial recruitment companies we had made no progress in finding a suitable candidate.
I was then introduced to MDM and Dan and Mike got to work. Two weeks later they introduced a candidate whom they were confident had just the right mix of experience, personality and motivation for Swizzels – and we agreed! It became a very straightforward appointment once MDM were involved.
