We have been exclusively retained by Bruntwood to appoint a Commercial Finance Director to a critical senior leadership role supporting some of the UK’s most ambitious city-shaping regeneration and residential programmes.

Bruntwood is now seeking a Commercial Finance Director to play a pivotal role in the delivery of major, residential-led regeneration programmes.

The Role

This is a senior, outward-facing role with real commercial weight. You’ll act as a trusted partner to the business and to public sector stakeholders, shaping joint ventures and partnership structures that underpin complex residential development programmes. You’ll bring financial discipline and commercial judgement to investment decisions, funding strategies and delivery models, while maintaining strong, credible relationships across both public and private sectors.

The role sits at the intersection of finance, commercial strategy and place-making. You’ll be closely involved in residential delivery strategy, funding, governance and board-level reporting, while leading and developing a high-performing finance team.

The Candidate

This opportunity will suit a qualified accountant with significant experience in Real Estate development (ideally including residential), a strong grasp of public sector partnerships and JVs, and the confidence to operate at board and partner level. You’ll be commercially minded, pragmatic, and comfortable influencing outcomes in complex environments.
