A Regional Private Equity firm is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance function. This role offers broad exposure across fund and corporate accounting, and would suit candidates making their first move into industry from a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy firm.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and review of management accounts, journals and statutory accounts for LLPs and corporate entities
• Ownership of budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
• Supporting quarterly fund reporting, including investor schedules and reporting packs
• Leading audit processes (fund, GP/LLP) and liaising with auditors and administrators
• VAT review and wider regulatory/compliance support
• Involvement in investor reporting, coinvest vehicles and portfolio-level financial information

About you:

• Qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Trained in a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy firm and now looking to move into industry
• Strong technical accounting background with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable taking ownership and working directly with senior stakeholders
