MDM are recruiting a Financial Controller to join a high-growth, Private Equity–backed business in South Manchester, operating a fully funded buy-and-build strategy.

The business is scaling rapidly and is expected to grow to many times its current size over the next four years, creating genuine opportunity to shape how the finance function operates at scale.

This is the number two role in finance, reporting directly to the CFO, with real ownership across:

• Building and embedding a robust Financial Control environment
• Designing and leading the finance integration of acquired businesses
• Delivering insightful Management Information and timely Financial Reporting

This role will suit someone who:

• Is North West–based
• Has strong Financial Control experience, ideally including acquisition integration
• Enjoys operating in a fast-paced, change-driven environment
• Wants visibility, influence, and progression in a PE-backed setting
